Drop into the Gardens over the weekend of Saturday April 14 and Sunday April 15 to sign our petition.
In conjunction with the Albion Residents Action Group and ‘Bettering Brimbank’, the Friends of the McKay Memorial Gardens are petitioning Minister for Transport and Roads, the Hon Terry Mulder MP, to ensure that the Regional Rail Link Authority undertake the grade separation of Anderson Road North without impacting on the Gardens or closing off King Edward Avenue.
We’ll be there from 9-5 each day with petition sheets to sign. If you have neighbours and/or friends who cant make it to the gardens, you can take a sheet to collect the signatures. The more signatures we get, the less the government will be able to ignore us.
Don’t let them impact our heritage listed gardens and don’t let them block off the residents of Albion from Sunshine!
